West Tamar fruit, hand-picked, with 30% whole bunches incorporated through carbonic maceration. Cold-soaked prior to a wild ferment, then pressed before dryness into predominantly old French oak. Unfined, unfiltered, sealed under screwcap.
Medium burgundy red in colour. The nose shows tar and warm spice layered over fresh cherry and strawberry, with lifted red fruit aromatics and a subtle bunchy undertone. Oak influence is gentle and well integrated.
The palate opens softly with medium acidity and youthful, chalky tannins that will soften quickly. Medium to fuller bodied, finishing long and balanced.
