There’s a slightly waxy texture with hints of smoked almonds and honeysuckle, derived from the old pink-skinned Madeira clone and partial maturation in seasoned French barriques. The acidity is tangy and needle-like, cleansing the finish and giving the wine a firm, tighter structure compared to previous vintages. With age, it develops brioche, lemon curd pastry, and creamy notes, making it both refreshing in youth and complex with cellaring potential.
