The palate is immense, dense, and deeply layered, with blackberry liqueur, plum, and black cherry delivering a powerful, mouth‑filling entry. Acidity is soft but present, giving just enough lift to carry the weight. Tannins are thick, velvety, and deeply woven, showing that unmistakable The Laird grandeur—luxurious, saturating, and architectural. A deep line of dark cocoa, espresso, black licorice, cedar, and warm spice adds richness and savoury depth. The mid‑palate is opulent, glossy, and concentrated, revealing hints of fig, smoked meat, graphite, and sweet spice. The finish is very long, warm, and enveloping, leaving waves of dark fruit, chocolate, spice, and polished oak.
