Tannins are fine, slightly grippy, and gently earthy, giving classic Castelão structure without heaviness. The mid‑palate shows notes of cranberry, dried herbs, subtle spice, and a faint dusty‑mineral thread, adding savoury detail beneath the fruit. The finish is clean, dry, and lightly spiced, leaving red fruit, herbs, and a soft earthy‑mineral echo.
