The palate is vibrant, structured, and beautifully expressive, opening with wild strawberry, red cherry, and raspberry shaped by Juliénas’ higher‑altitude granite slopes. A mid‑palate of violet, cracked pepper, and stony minerality reflects the cru’s naturally firmer frame and Obora’s minimal‑intervention approach. The tannins are fine, lightly grippy, and quietly architectural, giving the wine more backbone than many natural Beaujolais bottlings. The finish is long, savory‑mineral, and subtly floral, tapering with red‑berry skin, spice, and a clean granite echo.
