The palate is dark‑fruited, fresh, and quietly structural, opening with blackcurrant, mulberry, and plum skin lifted by bright, medium‑firm acidity that keeps the wine tight and energetic. Tannins are fine, chalky, and confidently shaped, giving classic Margaret River structure without heaviness. The mid‑palate shows graphite, bay leaf, dried herbs, and subtle cedar‑spice, adding savoury depth beneath the cassis‑driven fruit. The finish is long, dry, and mineral, leaving cassis, dark herbs, and a clean earthy‑graphite echo.
