Fetherston Estate Syrah

The palate is bright, savoury, and finely structured, with red plum, black cherry, and blueberry skin giving a cool, elegant entry. Acidity is fresh and lifted, keeping the wine taut and energetic in a distinctly Yarra Valley frame. Tannins are fine, powdery, and gently firm, offering shape without heaviness. A subtle line of white pepper, violet, smoked herbs, and graphite adds aromatic lift and savoury detail. The mid‑palate is silky, transparent, and quietly concentrated, showing hints of spice, cured meat, and mineral tension. The finish is long, dry, and refined, leaving pepper, cherry skin, and a cool mineral echo.
