The palate is rich, dark, and densely structured, opening with blackberry, plum, and black cherry lifted by fresh, medium acidity that keeps the wine balanced despite its power. Tannins are firm, velvety, and tightly woven, giving classic Greenock depth and muscularity. The mid‑palate shows dark chocolate, licorice, black pepper, and warm spice, with a charcoal‑mineral thread that adds savoury complexity beneath the concentrated fruit. The finish is long, bold, and deeply layered, leaving black fruits, cocoa, spice, and a lingering earthy‑mineral echo.
