Tannins are firm, fine‑grained, and slightly more linear than the Marananga or Greenock bottlings, giving a cooler, more focused Barossa expression. The mid‑palate shows dark chocolate, graphite, licorice, and cracked pepper, with a granite‑mineral thread adding savoury tension beneath the dense fruit. The finish is long, dry, and mineral‑edged, leaving black fruits, spice, and a clean earthy‑graphite echo.
