Domaine La Suffrène Bandol Blanc

It opens with aromas of white peach, apricot, citrus blossom, fennel frond, and subtle Mediterranean herbs, with a gentle saline edge. Compared to many Bandol whites, this cuvée is more textural, more savoury, and more aromatically expressive, thanks to the Clairette–Ugni Blanc blend and the estate’s cool safres soils. On the palate, it is medium‑bodied, creamy‑textured, and fresh, showing flavors of peach, apricot, pear skin, citrus zest, and fennel, supported by bright acidity and a saline‑mineral line. The 2024 vintage’s natural ripeness gives the wine a rounded, supple mid‑palate, while the terroir keeps it lifted.
