Domaine Dupraz Apremont "Montracul"

The palate is tense, mineral, and quietly powerful, with lemon zest, green apple, and white peach giving a crisp, high‑altitude entry. Acidity is racy and linear, but softened slightly by the extra bottle age. Texture is chalky, fine, and subtly creamy, showing more depth and weight than most Jacquère thanks to the Montracul terroir. A thread of citrus pith, alpine herbs, and wet‑stone salinity adds savoury complexity. The mid‑palate is precise, cool, and concentrated, revealing hints of pear skin, fennel, and light almond. The finish is long, dry, and stony, leaving citrus peel, mineral dust, and a clean alpine echo.
