The palate is bright, savoury, and firmly structured, opening with red cherry, raspberry, and plum skin before a clear line of garrigue herbs and cracked pepper brings lift. Acidity is fresh and lively, giving the wine a taut, energetic feel, while tannins are grippy, earthy, and confidently rustic, very much in the Joncier style. The mid‑palate is leaner and more herbal than plush, showing hints of dried thyme, bay leaf, and warm stones. The finish is dry, spicy, and mineral‑edged, leaving red‑fruit tension and a touch of savoury grip.
