The palate is supple, earthy, and deeply rooted in old‑vine character, opening with black cherry, wild strawberry, and a touch of blackberry shaped by the south‑facing ripeness of En Buliet. A mid‑palate of black pepper, warm earth, and chalk‑clay minerality reflects both the 1934 vines and the domaine’s low‑intervention, indigenous‑yeast approach. The tannins are fine, soft, and quietly persistent, giving the wine a gentle but confident frame. The finish is long, floral, and subtly savoury, tapering with red‑berry skin, spice, and a limestone echo.
