The palate is elegant, red‑fruited, and quietly powerful, opening with wild strawberry, red cherry, and a touch of cranberry lifted by the full southern exposure of La Fussière. A mid‑palate of sweet spice, light earth, and a subtle olive‑skin savouriness reflects the grey‑blue marl and the domaine’s spontaneous‑ferment, old‑oak élevage. The tannins are ripe, fine, and gently structuring, giving the wine both charm and age‑worthy definition. The finish is long, juicy, and mineral‑lined, tapering with red‑berry skin, spice, and a faint limestone echo.
