The palate is supple, earthy, and beautifully old‑vine in feel, opening with black cherry, wild strawberry, and a touch of blackberry carried by the south‑facing ripeness of En Buliet. A mid‑palate of black pepper, warm earth, and chalky‑clay texture reflects both the 1934 vines and the domaine’s whole‑cluster, low‑SO₂ approach. The tannins are soft, fine, and quietly persistent, giving the wine a gentle frame rather than a stern one. The finish is long, floral, and subtly savory, tapering with red‑berry skin, spice, and a mineral echo from the limestone.
