A mid‑palate of black pepper, warm earth, and chalky‑clay texture reflects both the 1934 vines and the domaine’s whole‑cluster, low‑SO₂ approach. The tannins are soft, fine, and quietly persistent, giving the wine a gentle frame rather than a stern one. The finish is long, floral, and subtly savory, tapering with red‑berry skin, spice, and a mineral echo from the limestone.
