The palate is tense, mineral, and finely textured, with lemon, lime zest, and crisp white peach leading. Acidity is racy and precise, driving a strong line of chalk, crushed stone, and saline depth typical of Montmains. The mid‑palate is slender but more layered than the village wine, showing hints of citrus pith, white flowers, and subtle oyster‑shell savouriness. The finish is long, dry, and deeply mineral, leaving citrus peel, chalk dust, and a cool, stony echo.
