It opens with aromas of white fruits, ripe white peach, quince, and subtle spice, mingled with delicate floral notes. Compared to Perret’s varietal Marsanne, this cuvée is more expressive, more aromatic, and more structured, thanks to the Roussanne component. On the palate, it is moderately weighted, juicy, and supple, showing flavors of ripe orchard fruit, peach, sweet red apple, and quince, supported by fine salinity and a light phenolic grip on the finish. The 2022 vintage’s natural generosity is balanced by Perret’s hallmark precision.
