Grenache leads with its red‑berry lift, Shiraz adds mid‑palate plushness and darker fruit, and Mourvèdre brings a subtle tannin frame and a whisper of gamey complexity. The texture is silky but energetic, driven by bright acidity and d’Arenberg’s signature slightly rustic tannin line. Notes of licorice, clove, and crushed violets emerge with air. The finish is long, spicy, and red‑fruited, carrying a gentle mineral edge and that unmistakable McLaren Vale warmth.
