Texture is silky with a gentle chalk‑mineral edge, showing more depth and savoury tension than the Estate bottling. The mid‑palate reveals notes of grapefruit pith, almond meal, flinty reduction, and a cool saline thread, reflecting Basket Town’s extra concentration and the producer’s minimal‑intervention style. The finish is long, clean, and mineral‑pithy, leaving citrus, stone fruit, and a fine smoky‑mineral echo.
