The palate is bright, savoury, and quietly powerful, opening with black cherry, plum skin, and redcurrant lifted by fresh, cool‑climate acidity that keeps the wine taut and energetic. Tannins are fine, chalky, and confidently shaped, giving classic Tempranillo grip but with a distinctly Tasmanian finesse. The mid‑palate reveals notes of dried herbs, cola spice, tobacco leaf, and a dark, stony mineral thread, adding depth beneath the fruit. The finish is long, dry, and savoury‑mineral, leaving cherry skin, spice, and a clean earthy echo.
