The palate is bright, spicy, and finely structured, opening with blackberry, dark plum, and boysenberry lifted by fresh, cool‑climate acidity that gives the wine drive and tension. Tannins are fine, graphite‑edged, and gently firm, offering shape without heaviness. The mid‑palate shows classic cool‑climate Syrah detail: violet, black pepper, olive tapenade, and a subtle smoky‑mineral thread, adding savoury depth beneath the fruit. The finish is long, dry, and pepper‑laced, leaving dark fruit, spice, and a clean mineral echo.
