Bannockburn S.R.H Chardonnay

It opens with aromas of yellow peach, nectarine, orange blossom, fennel seed, and crushed limestone, with a subtle marine‑mineral edge from the ancient seabed soils. Compared to Bannockburn’s Winery Block Chardonnay, the S.R.H is more intense, more mineral, more tightly wound, and clearly built for longevity. On the palate, it is powerful, concentrated, and deeply textural, showing flavors of ripe stone fruit, citrus oil, almond meal, and struck‑rock minerality, supported by vibrant acidity and dense, coiled structure. The 40% new oak is beautifully integrated, adding shape without heaviness.
