The palate is silky, bright, and quietly structured, opening with red cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry lifted by fresh, medium‑plus acidity that gives the wine drive and tension. Tannins are fine, chalky, and gently firm, offering more structure than the Santa Barbara County bottling but still beautifully supple. The mid‑palate shows rose petal, dried herbs, subtle spice, and a light forest‑floor note, adding savoury depth beneath the vibrant red fruit. The finish is long, clean, and mineral‑edged, leaving cherry skin, spice, and a soft earthy‑herbal echo.
