The palate is vibrant, structured, and deeply fruited, opening with black cherry, cassis, and wild berries shaped by Burgaud’s meticulous semi‑carbonic approach. A mid‑palate of violet, cracked pepper, and stony minerality reflects the granitic soils of Lantignié and the domaine’s traditional whole‑cluster style. The tannins are silky but firm, giving the wine more backbone than many Beaujolais‑Villages bottlings. The finish is long, juicy, and mineral‑lined, tapering with dark‑berry skin, floral lift, and a clean granite echo.
