This Chardonnay made from specially selected and managed rows of fruit within the vineyard. Wine making was similar to the 2018 wines, with new oak , balancing the fruit profile and natural acidity. Using minimal intervention process of whole bunch pressing, and racking to a combination of mostly 2 and 3 year old oak and again using Indigenous yeasts for the fermentation. A wine of richness and depth. Aromas of yellow peach, with cashew and mealy oak, underscored by hints of flinty minerality. The palate is rounded and buttery with nougat and butterscotch on the finish, balanced by a fine, grapefruit acidity.
