Totally opaque black dark red colour with a vibrant dark red hue. Showing good intensity aromas of ripe dark plum, liquorice and dark cherries are overlaid by subtle incense notes with lightly earthed vanillin cedar . Aged primarily in older American and French oak. The palate is layered and plush, with well weighted fruit, supported by some lovely tannin leading to a long, clean finish.
