Medium red colour with a tinge of purple. The bouquet is subdued, earthy and has a background of dark cherry and plum. There are spicy dark cherry palate flavours and the wine has richness and grip. An unusual blend for this region, but surprisingly the shiraz doesn't completely dominate the pinot.
