Deep, dark purple with a lilac rim. Complex and aromatic. Cherry cola, strawberry and white pepper. Clean and juicy, a well balanced palate with vibrant flavours. Fresh strawberries and cream, purple fruits and a hint of spiciness. Fine tannins and good length, a lovely wine.
A medium bodied aromatic red intended to be enjoyed in its youth.Awards:
This is fruity and lifted – joyous red berried fruits – though there are plenty of earth, smoke and twig-like notes running through the finish. Sucks-you-in-and-keeps-you-there style. Boysenberry and redcurrant are the drivers though there’s a resiny whisper running over the top, and the finish then brings in the aforementioned. It works well.

A terrific example of how one can step away from the usual suspects and traditional varieties to find some cracking wines of brilliant value with emerging grapes, especially those from Italy. A lovely cherry/crimson in colour, the nose offers an array of flavours – plums, florals, red cherries and tobacco leaf notes. Well structured with a supple and slippery texture, through to satiny tannins. Good focus. Notes of blueberries emerge on the palate backed by fresh acidity. This is one of the best Negroamaro’s I have seen from Australia, although granted there are not that many. Delicious and great value.
