Characteristic floral, cherry and spice aromas abound from the glass on first approach. The fruit from the four vineyards delivers appealing diversity of aroma and flavour, along with multiple layers and textures. The deeply textural mouthfeel is silken and already charmingly approachable: partly due to the warm 2018 season, but also highly typical of the Felton Road house style. Central Otago such a good place for Pinot Noir as it is dry. The region gets less than 23 inches of rain per year. The southern Alps stand in the way for more abundant precipitation. But the west coast on the other side of the mountains is known to be extremely wet. At Felton Road, the yield is very low compared to New Zealand in general. But low yield is essential for the quality of the Pinot Noir grapes.Awards:

Felton Road Pinot Noir Central Otago Bannockburn 2018 Aromatic and expressive, with raspberry, cherry and fresh
herb notes that are precise on a smooth and supple frame, offering details of matcha green tea, white pepper and
forest floor. A hint of fresh nutmeg lingers on the long, expressive finish, where the tannins provide a slight grip.
