This is a great pinot noir from Burgundy that is definitely worth its value.
It feels elegant, silky and dry with light touch tannins. On the flavour front, it features fresh and delicious red berries. The 2019 Septembre was crafted mainly with grapes from the Côte d’Or and the Hautes-Côtes in France’s Bourgogne appellation. Uncork this bottle with charcuterie. Enjoy.
Edouard Delaunay Septembre Pinot Noir
Lovely vivid red in colour reminiscent of sour cherries. The nose is very fresh and expressive with balsamic and spicy aromas (cumin, wild thyme) along with fruity notes of cherry and sour cherry, rounded out by sweet scents of sugar coated almonds and marzipan.
Starts of wonderfully velvety on the palate with a touch of fresh acidity and some wild flavours underscored by nuances of brambles…
